Rick Visits Israel

Invited by the Anti-Defamation League as part a contingent of Latino journalists, Rick had the chance to visit Israel—a first for him.

Rick touches the stone where Jesus’ body was laid after the crucifixion.

On a personal level, it was a very moving trip.  From seeing the land where Jesus lived, to meeting with both Arab and Jewish families who had lost loved ones, to celebrating shabbat with a Jewish family, Rick had many wonderful experiences.

He chronicles some of them in pieces that are now up on his official website RickSanchezTV.com:

A Sign of Promise: Rick sits down with Israeli journalist Henrique Cymerman, who has just interviewed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

On the Gaza Border with Israel’s “Rocket Man”: Rick spends a day with Micky Rosenfeld in the Israeli town of Sderot, where Qassam Rockets regularly rain down upon its residents.

The Three Wise Men: A Palestinian, a Jewish settler and an Israeli Knesset member share their views on the future.
